From hardcore upstarts in 2006 to national magazine cover stars in 2009, and now set to release one of the most eagerly awaited albums of 2010, Cancer Bats are the living embodiment of their "sleep all day, party every day, never grow old, never die" ethic.  That's something we can all get on board with, right?

Cancer Bats

Born out of previous band break-ups and a desire to do things their own way, the 'Bats have come steamrollering out of Toronto, Canada with an agenda to bring the party at all times and some of the finest hardcore / metal crossover songs you're ever likely to hear.  We released 'Birthing The Giant' in 2006 and followed that up in 2008 by releasing the insanely critically acclaimed 'Hail Destroyer'.  2010, however, is all about third album 'Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones' - a simply staggering assault on the senses that's sure to propel Cancer Bats into the realms of super-stardom.  Check out the Hassle Records audio player to hear the first release from the album, the stunning 'Scared To Death', and stay tuned to music TV to catch the band's homage to the Beastie Boys - their cover of the classic 'Sabotage'.

Cancer Bats are:
