Hassle Records youngest signings, Rolo Tomassi are a fresh-faced bunch straight from the Steel City, playing some of the most frenetic, insane and jaw-dropping tunes around.
What is there to say about this band? They simply defy description, but we'll give it a go - there's elements of punk, hardcore, post-rock, electronica, jazz and full on metal. It's an aural assault, but of the hippest kind, and in frontwoman Eva, they posess the most natural star to emerge from the UK underground in years. 'Hysterics' was released on Hassle Records to huge critical acclaim in September 2008 and April 19th 2010 will see the release of their Diplo produced second album - the ferocious and enigmatic 'Cosmology'. Catch the band on tour in Europe and the UK in April.
Rolo Tomassi are:
Edward Dutton (drums)
Joe Nicholson (guitar)
Eva Spence (vocals)
James Spence (keys)
Joseph Thorpe (bass)
